What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://loanscribe.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data

This Policy is applicable to the Personal Information (including but not limited to details pertaining to your name, parentage, marital status, nationality, state of residence, city of residence, email address, date of birth, gender, contact number/mobile number, user ids, passwords, recent photograph, signature image, e-KYC through UIDAI, Aadhaar based e-Signature and other Know Your Customer (KYC) documents like address proof, identity proof, income proof, PAN or such other officially valid documents/details (OVDs) accepted for concluding a financial transaction) which are shared/ uploaded by you, as and when you avail the products and services via the online application forms and questionnaires through usage of Services and which LoanScribe may get access to. By visiting and/or using our Services, you agree to this Policy. Further, this policy applies to all current and former visitors to the Services. It is strongly recommended for you to return to this page periodically to review the most current version of the Policy. LoanScribe reserves the right at any time, at its sole discretion, to change or otherwise modify the Policy without prior notice, and your continued access or use of this Website signifies your acceptance of the updated or modified Policy.
Express Consent
You while providing the details/documents over the Services, including but not limited to Personal Information as mentioned hereinabove, expressly consent to LoanScribe (its affiliates and business partners) to contact you, to make follow up calls in relation to the services provided through the Services, for imparting product knowledge, offering promotional offers running on Website & various other offers offered by its partners on the Services.
The usage of the Services may also require you to provide consent for keying in/ uploading your Personal Information and Sensitive Information (including but not limited to user ids and passwords), as may be necessary to process your application through the Website. Sensitive information keyed in/ uploaded shall be required for enabling hassle free, faster and paperless (to the extent possible) processing of applications for financial products so opted / availed by you.
You hereby authorize and expressly consent us to share your demographic and Personal Information with third parties and for LoanScribe to send you targeted communications and offers by agreeing to the Terms of Use while accessing the Service.
If you are no longer interested in sharing your Personal and Sensitive Information, please e-mail your request at: LoanScribe@gmail.com Please note that it may take about 72 business hours to process your request. In furtherance to your usage of the Services, you expressly waive the Do Not Call (DNC) / Do Not Disturb (DND) registrations on your phone/mobile numbers for contacting you for this purpose. Hence, there is no DNC / DND check required for the number you have used our Services. Such modes of contacting you may include but not limited to sending SMSs, email alerts and / or telephonic calls.
LoanScribe reserves the right (and you expressly authorize LoanScribe) to share or disclose your Personal Information/ Sensitive Information when LoanScribe determines, in its sole discretion, that the disclosure of such information is necessary or appropriate under the law for the time being in force.
Opting Out Of Communication
In case you do not want to be disturbed over telephonic calls, provide details of the telephone number(s) on which you do not wish to be contacted and submit the same at LoanScribe@gmail.com from your email address registered at Services. The details that you provide through the opt-out email will remain confidential and once you have submitted the same to us, your telephone number(s) will be removed from all our telemarketing calling lists within 15 working days. We will make every effort to ensure that you do not get any further telemarketing calls on such telephone number(s).
Usage and Purpose
We will be sharing your Personal Information/ Sensitive Information with our affiliates and business partners where we feel that you will be assisted better. By registering on the Services, you authorise LoanScribe to send texts and email alerts to you and any other service requirements, including promotional mails and SMSs Further. This allows LoanScribe to:

In the event that you access the Service as brought to you by one of our partners through Services, your name, e-mail address, mobile number, date of birth, employment type, residency status, income details/proofs, Form 26 AS, PAN, details of loan / credit card/ Mutual Fund applied for and loan, credit card and Mutual Fund status or any other financial product status as may be provided to that partner when your application is submitted and whenever the status of application is updated. LoanScribe has a business relationship with these partners and you may not opt-out of sharing your information with these partners as the case may be.
You may opt out of location based services at any time by editing the setting of your browser/device.
We may also use third party service providers to provide the Service to you, such as sending e-mail messages on our behalf or hosting and operating a particular feature or functionality of the Service. Our contracts with these third parties outline the appropriate use and handling of your information and prohibit them from using any of your Personal Information for purposes unrelated to the product or service they’re providing. We require such third parties to maintain the confidentiality of the information provide to them.

The only situation we may get access to your PII is when you personally decide to email us your feedback or to provide us with a bug report. The PII we may get from you in that situation is strictly limited to your name, email address and your survey response only.

LoanScribe does not disclose sensitive personal data or Personal Information including SI of a customer except as directed by law or as per mandate received from the customer / applicant. You can request the information on whether LoanScribe holds and personal information on you by sending a written request to support@LoanScribe.in. However, we will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.
No specific information about customer accounts or other personally identifiable data is shared with non-affiliated third parties unless any of the following conditions is met:
-To help complete an order requested by you
-To provide support services , provided it conforms to the Privacy Policy of the LoanScribe and your prior consent to do so is obtained
-You have specifically allowed it
-The disclosure is necessary as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process
-The information is shared with Government agencies mandated under law
-The information is shared with any third party by an order under the law
-When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Advertising
We use the following third-party services for our Android app:
We collect certain data that allows us to analyze how you interact with our app and fix bugs. We do use third-party tools to help us with this. But we are careful to only let them process usage data and minimal personal data. To be clear, these third party services are not permitted to use the data for any other purpose than to help us run the app.
Google Analytics, & Facebook Analytics
This service helps us to collect and analyze usage data in order to understand usage patterns and to improve our Android app.

Firebase Crash Reporting (Google Inc.)
This service helps us to identify crashes and errors in our app. It helps us to improve the reliability and stability of our Android app.
Personal data collected: Instance IDs, Crash traces
Data retention: 180 days for crash stack traces, Firebase retains Instance IDs until the Firebase customer makes an API call to delete the ID.
Advertising helps us to keep our app free. The premium version of our app does not serve any ads. The ad’s content is NOT based on your entries or notes. We don’t share your data with the ads providers.
The free version of our Android app uses the following service: AdMob (AdMob Google Inc.), Facebook Audience Network
We use AdMob, Facebook Audience Network to display ad banners and other advertisements possibly based on your interests. AdMob, Facebook Audience Network may or may not use cookies to identify users and they may use the behavioural retargeting technique, i.e. displaying ads tailored to your interests and behaviour, including those detected outside our app. For example, if you’ve previously visited e-shop selling shoes you might see more ads promoting shoes or shoe shops.
